This past couple of weeks I have been making my own murrini and having a blast!! With my new oxy generator I am able to produce my own cane combinations – how exciting.
I have been trying different color combinations for murrini canes. I hand pull them, cool, snip and encorporate slices into my bead designs – the possibilities are endless. Each cane takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to hand build and pull using the torch.
So far my favorites are the raku canes which are unpredictably re-active and look great with red, black and a ton of other colors.
