I was a kid who spent hours sorting through my mom’s button box, fascinated with the colors, shapes and designs. As an older kid, it’s a thrill to create a bowl of beads, my own “button box”.
I developed a moderate interest (my husband would call it a raging obsession) after taking some lessons at Bavin Glass studios (July 2005) in Invermere in the inspiring Columbia valley.
In March of 2006 after a few months of researching and collecting equipment, I got my own studio up and running. The medium of glass is constantly evolving for me and I enjoy taking classes and learning new techniques.
The possibilities are endless; those that I see go from me to my mandrel and into finished pieces!
